We are looking for a 2D Animator!

We are expanding our team and looking for a talented and passionate 2D Animator to join our growing StoryTime App development team. If you haven't heard about our app StoryTime (you probably do), we develop safe, non-addictive Digital Activities for kids aged 3+. 

About the job

StoryTime is educational. To help them learn, we need great animations. Your animations will play an important role in supporting the audio elements in the play-learning experience. Luckily our users love animations. What's left is to animate something fun and educational for kids. Your animations need to fulfil the curiosity of our users' creative tiny brains.

About You

• You are an excellent illustrator and animator.

• Have at least 2 years of experience in 2D animation. Experience in 2D game animation is an advantage.

• You know how 2D animation in game development works.

• You have a Bachelor's Degree holder in relevant animation studies.

• Love to learn and improve your skills.

What will you do

• Prepare a simple storyboard for animations.

• Plan and suggest the overall animation concepts.

• Animate based on the game concept developed by the concept artist.

• You need little supervision. You can come out with a solution for a problem and discuss it with top management when facing challenges. 

• You value and appreciate high-quality work.

• You are ready to learn from failure and feedback and then iterate to learn faster. 

• Curious and proactive — a desire to learn about people’s needs and the ability to generate ideas, and get things done. Ready to pitch-in on tasks, big or small.
