We are looking for a marketer!

We are good at developing games for kids but bad at telling people about it. So we are hiring a marketer to join our growing StoryTime App development team. If you haven't heard about our app StoryTime (you probably do), we develop safe, non-addictive Digital Activities for kids aged 3+. 

About the job

You will be the storyteller of our team. Your mission is to spread the word about StoryTime benefits, let parents know about its non-addictive features and get them excited to try StoryTime. We are still new. We believe in the benefits of the app. We work hard to make sure it's safe for kids and we want parents to know, there's a better screen-time option for their kids. This is a one-year contract full-time position.

About You

• You're an excellent writer (both Malay and English), and great on video as well.

• Have at least 2 years of marketing experience in Digital Products or E-Commerce.

• You must be someone who loves kids. Parents are encouraged to apply.

• You understand the concept of play-based learning.

• You are at least a Bachelor's Degree holder.

• If you have an ECE and or Psychology background, it will be an advantage.

• Love to learn and improve your skills.

What will you do

• Plan, prepare, and execute the launching announcement of every new update and product. This includes copywriting, graphics and videos.

• Collaborate with the designer and production team to come out with relevant graphics and videos for the launch.

• Spread out the words about StoryTime to as many parents as possible.

• You need little supervision. You can come out with a solution for a problem and discuss it with top management when facing challenges. 

• You value and appreciate high-quality work.

• You are ready to learn from failure and feedback and then iterate to learn faster. 

• Curious and proactive — a desire to learn about people’s needs and the ability to generate ideas, and get things done. Ready to pitch-in on tasks, big or small.
