We are looking for a Unity Developer!
We are hiring our second Unity Developer to join our growing StoryTime App development team. If you haven't heard about our app StoryTime (you probably do), we develop safe, non-addictive Digital Activities for kids aged 3+.
About the job
StoryTime is different. We don’t incorporate gamification in our app. We also don’t have instructions as most of our users cannot read. And they don’t listen to instructions either. Don’t believe us? Ask their parents. Instead, we focus on the responsive feedback loop. Your codes need to be able to catch up with our users' fast tiny hands.
About You
You love to code. Your brain itches when your code returns errors.
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Games or any relevance studies.
Experience in game development
Strong ability with C# object-oriented programming language
Experience in Unity content development
Good understanding of profiling and optimizing game and render performance (GPU and CPU)
Working knowledge of lighting, UV-mapping and VFX system
You must be someone who loves kids. Parents are encouraged to apply.
Your love to learn and improve your skills.
Mindset
You need little supervision. You can come out with a solution for a problem and discuss it with top management when facing challenges.
You value and appreciate high-quality work.
You are ready to learn from failure and feedback and then iterate to learn faster.
Curious and proactive — a desire to learn about people’s needs and the ability to generate ideas, and get things done. Ready to pitch-in on tasks, big or small.
Application
To apply please email us your resume, cover letters and portfolio of your past work to amsb@arasmega.com
